The Arab Network for Early Childhood Development is participating in the fifth edition of the International Developmental Pediatrics Association (IDPA) Congress for 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Ghassan Issa, the General Coordinator of the ANECD and the President of IDPA, will join pediatricians, researchers, and decision-makers in this international platform aimed at addressing inequalities in child development around the world.

The ANECD is also participating in the RewirEd Summit 2023 during the COP28 climate summit in Dubai on December 8th, 2023. Dubai Cares is hosting this summit, which focuses on putting education at the forefront of the climate agenda. Dr. Ghassan Issa will lead a session entitled “Roots of Resilience: The Essential Need for Early Childhood Development in a Changing Climate World,” highlighting the vital role of early childhood development in addressing climate change challenges.
