The Ministry of Social Affairs, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), launched the “Standards for Social Affairs Ministry Nurseries towards a Safe and Child-Friendly Development Environment”(Available in Arabic), supported by the LEGO Foundation and the MacArthur Foundation.

The launch event included signing a memorandum of understanding between the ministry and IRC. The project was implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Early Childhood Development (ECD) program at the International Rescue Committee, and the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at the American University of Beirut (AUB).
