Professor in Early Childhood Education

Dr. Fathi Ahmida is a Professor of Early Childhood Education at the Hashemite University in Jordan. He has over 20 years of experience in university teaching, training, and early childhood curriculum development. He earned his PhD from the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom and has previously worked at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman and Qatar University, where he contributed to pioneering research projects in early childhood education.

His research interests focus on the development of children’s literacy skills, early childhood teacher training, family engagement in early childhood programs, and early childhood education in the Gulf region. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed research papers in prestigious academic journals and serves on advisory and editorial boards of several scientific journals. Additionally, he acts as a consultant for the Queen Rania Foundation for Excellence in Education.

Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Ahmida has extensive experience in designing nursery and kindergarten curricula, developing and evaluating teacher training programs, assessing educational awards, and providing consultancy in the field of early childhood education. He has received several prestigious research and recognition awards, including the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers (2014), the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Award for Educational Research (2018), and the Outstanding Entrepreneurs Award (2023).
