The Early Childhood Development Action Network (ECDAN) has released its strategy for the next five years (2024- 2028) titled Catalyzing Collective Action with and for young children and their caregivers. The strategy aims to take the network to the next level of its evolution and contribute to the impact tied to the Sustainable Development Goals. ECDAN has selected targets to focus on that relate to child well-being and cover all aspects of nurturing care named in ECDAN’s vision statement.

ECDAN is making deliberate strategic shifts from the previous strategy while maintaining its core functions and strengths. In Its vision, it also places importance on emerging themes and neglected issues that demand greater focus, including climate change and environmental degradation, humanitarian crises, developmental delays and disability, mental health, digital technologies and artificial intelligence, parenting and childcare.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab Network for Early Childhood Development (ANECD) is a strategic partner of ECDAN.
