The “National Council for Family Affairs” (NCFA) held its regular meeting with the participation of the “Arab Network for Early Childhood” (ANECD) and various Arab networks, including the “Palestinian Network for ECD,” as well as associations concerned with early childhood issues in several Arab countries.

The meeting focused on the latest developments in the war on the Gaza Strip and its impact on young children in various educational, health, and psychological sectors. It aimed to follow up on the advocacy campaign launched in light of the recent war.

Dr. Ghassan Issa, ANECD’s General Coordinator, addressed the meeting, discussing the three Calls to Action issued by ANECD regarding Israeli war crimes in the Strip and serious violations of international humanitarian law. Dr. Issa also spoke about the advocacy campaign launched by the network, addressing essential issues related to early childhood during wartime, emphasising the importance of continuing the campaign and coordinating between ANECD and its partners to develop a plan for assisting in the post-war period.
