The Moving Minds Alliance (MMA) in collaboration with Juzoor Association, ANECD, the Palestinian Network for Early Childhood (PNECD), and Amna Association launched the campaign “shofoo bi oyouni” (See Through My Eyes) from November 25-29, 2024, coinciding with the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
This initiative aimed to amplify the voices of children affected by the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East, focusing on their resilience, aspirations, and right to a hopeful childhood. By showcasing universal childhood experiences—playing, learning, and dreaming—the campaign seeks to humanize the Palestinian experience and foster global empathy.
It highlighted local-led solutions, encouraging support for community-driven efforts protecting children in crisis. Targeting working professionals, funders, and humanitarian actors in the US, UK, and EU, the campaign featured thematic stories from children and caregivers, complemented by visuals capturing moments of joy and resilience.
Partners include PNECD, Juzoor, UNICEF Palestine, ANECD, Camp Breakers, and IRC branches in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Amna. With hashtags like #PalestineDay and #GazaThroughMyEyes, the campaign advocated for increased diplomatic efforts, ceasefire prioritization, and enhanced funding to uphold children’s rights and futures.
