‘The Tunisian Network for Early Childhood’ hosted by the ‘Association of Childhood Inspectors’ with the support of ANECD published a study entitled ‘The Psychological Effects of Climate Change and Parents’ Involvement of Their Children in Environmental Activities’.
The comprehensive study is predicated from the fact that children are the demographic most adversely impacted by climate change. It also seeks to highlight the issue of climate change anxiety among parents of children under eight years old, and to explore the types of coping and adaptation strategies that parents adopt and practice as their children engage in environmental activities. These activities help both parents and children to reduce anxiety, acquire pro- environmental behaviors, and develop their resilience.
