The Moroccan Network for Early Childhood

The Moroccan Foundation for the Promotion of Preschool Education (FMPS) is a non-profit organization established through an initiative by the Higher Council for Education, Training, and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Interior, and the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Works in Education and Training.

The foundation aims to develop, establish, and manage a new preschool education system that meets high educational excellence standards, ensuring accessibility to all parents without discrimination. It is committed to providing equal quality in reception, supervision, and education for all children.

In 2023, ANECD and FMPS signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation and joint efforts, particularly in facilitating the establishment of the National ECD Network in Morocco.

The foundation is actively working on:

• Drafting the legal framework for the national network.
• Engaging with ministries, organizations, institutions, and experts from various early childhood sectors in Morocco to launch the national network’s activities.
